Yesterday Uranus went retrograde, with an apparent motion from 32 to 28 degrees Pisces before it goes direct at the end of 2016. This is a repeat performance of 2015, when Uranus went from 29 to 24 degrees Pisces during July-December of that year. Uranus in Pisces wants peace, but in retrograde, violence seems to plague its travel across our Zodiac.
The fall of 2015 marked a sharp increase of tens of thousands of refugees trying to cross the Mediterranean Sea to escape the destruction of the Syrian civil war. Many of them drowned in the attempt. The U.S. began a full-out assault on ISIS after a series of victories rocked the Iraq puppet government. This period ended with the impeachment proceedings against Dilma Roussant, the female president of Brazil, for her involvement in government corruption.
In the U.S., the Republican debates began, and Donald Trump demolished his opposition, as the GOP became the propaganda arm of the Tea Party. Bernie Sanders split the Democratic party down the middle, denying Hillary Clinton her easy victory in the upcoming primaries. Black activists forced some Southern states to stop using the confederate flag, and riots engulfed Ferguson, Missouri, on the anniversary of the police murder of Micheal Brown. Similar protests occurred in Chicago, when videos revealed the killing of Laquan McDonald by a police officer who shot him 16 times in the back. Additionally, the shocking serial murders in Colorado and California marked an increase in the gun deaths of innocent bystanders by unhinged shooters, a phenomenon that is now a daily, commonplace occurrence in American life. Uranus in retrograde is a dangerous period, when Uranus' power is temporarily denied, with deadly consequences for people who are helplessly caught in the maelstrom.
We can expect a lot of the same types of sudden expressions of anger and depression in the 2016 retrograde Uranus. The demarcation between the two is symbolized by our presidential candidates. Those who are depressed support the Clintons, those who are angry go for Trump. Either way, the slaughter of the innocents will continue unabated and people will lose hope that there can ever be peace or happiness in this world. Economically, our sins of debt and destruction will come back to haunt us, and the secrets of our corrupt government officials (and lying political candidates) may stop them in their tracks, no matter how lofty their promises.
Uranus in Pisces has been called the Jesus syndrome, when new ideas, from Christian ethics to socialist economics, emerge to create a new dispensation. In Pisces, Uranus is weak, and these new, revolutionary ideas are subject to repression and their adherents liable to martyrdom. In retrograde, Uranus is retreating from confrontation, gaining momentum for the next big push towards the future. Uranus retrograde is hung up on past hurts, and historical injustice. Freedom is still out of reach, in spite of the fact the first inkling of a new, kinder and more humane philosophy is on the rise, at least among those who have the highest consciousness.
Uranus is due for another retrograde period in the fall of 2017, where we will again experience the same stop-and-start hesitation in facing the job of resolving the exploitation of capitalism and achieving world peace.
It won't be until May of 2018, however, until Uranus moves into Aries that humanity will find the courage and strength to carry out these enormous tasks. In the meantime, we can only hope that the insanity now convulsing the world will not mean its destruction.

Take note of the T-square forming between Saturn square Neptune and the Moon's Nodes, it's going to permeate until Sept. The Neptune is going to almost guarantee our vulnerability to addiction and escapism of all kinds. We can see it in the delirium of the presidential race, where the two most disliked candidates of all time vie for our favor by feeding us even more lies and deceit. Mad-hatter Hillary depends on sentimentality and wishful thinking, and Trump's penis-promises are like a drunk promising a night of sexual bliss. No matter who wins, their supporters will end up disappointed and exploited by the times themselves--Saturn. When Saturn starts to move direct in Ophiuchus in the middle of August, all bets are off for a safe and peaceful transition to the next election. With another Mercury retrograde in August-October, and a Grand Cross Oct. 19, the next couple of months could mean some major problems for the American political process, such as a complete meltdown. One or more of the candidates may be eliminated in some way, and the state of our economy will make the elections look like a Pokemon game compared to what is happening in the streets. Saturn in Ophiuchus could mean martial law, and also the demise of the state. Ophiuchus does not heed man's laws, and we have yet to see how far the female rage can take us into a revolution.

All eyes are on Saturn in Ophiuchus, which has been in that sign since Dec. 2015, and retrograde since March 24, will finally go direct on Aug. 12. What this means is the destruction of governments, which will be overthrown in the green fire of female rage. Since government, an instrument of mankind, and Ophiuchus, the goddess of female independence are always in conflict, the direct motion should shake the state all along the line, like a locomotive tugging a train of cars into forward motion.

If it wasn't for bad luck, we wouldn't have any luck at all. Not that all bad luck is bad. Setbacks can prevent a worse disaster further down the line. If you get a flat tire that saves you from being in a head on collision, it's not bad luck at all. That's the way we should view the tableau of squares we see this month. The T square we see with the Sun, Uranus and the Black Moon is augmented by an even more dire Juno, Ceres and Lilith T-square hidden below the surface. With Pluto Trine Jupiter, what we have is a situation where we can all get rid of our wretched excess, be it the useless junk we hoard, the pounds of fat we carry, or the dead-weight losers we support like monkeys on our back. The Pluto-Jupiter connection makes it easy to get rid of all our crap, be it childhood trauma, destructive emotional habits, relationship failure or self-induced health problems. Do it before it does you. You have until August when Saturn goes direct and they'll be hell to pay for lethargy now. Good luck.
